PROVIDED BY GLOVERSVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Gloversville Public Library commits itself to
the citizens of Gloversville to be a community resource that provides
access to information and technology, educational and cultural events
while remaining a center for research and recreational pursuits.
Unfortunately, beginning September 8, 2009, some patrons will have
limited access to the collection, services and programs offered by the
Gloversville Public Library. More information can be found here.

TAX FORMS
The NYS Dept of Taxation and Finance will NOT mail out tax forms this
year and the Library's selection of forms is limited.
We encourage people to visit both
the state and federal agencies online for additional forms: www.nystax.gov and www.irs.gov. The Library does
have public Internet computers available for accessing these sites.
LIBRARY
SERVICES
The Library Catalog and the Children's Catalog display the
holdings for this library and the public libraries found in Fulton,
Hamilton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and
Washington counties.
Numerous databases for children, young
adults and adults are also available. A barcoded library card from a
public library in one of the eight counties listed above is required
for access.
Internet access is available in the library. Details regarding its use
can be found by clicking "Computers and Internet Access".
Back issues of the Leader-Herald to 1973 are
available on microfilm and can be printed at a cost of $ .10 per page.
Federal
and New
York State Tax Forms are available.
Books-on-tape and CD as well as large print books are available in the
Reading Room.
The Historical
Reference Room houses materials on local and New York State
history. These are REFERENCE ONLY items.
