Friends Storytime

Presented by the Friends of the Gloversville Public Library
NOTE: If GESD is closed or on a two hour delay, StoryTime will be cancelled.

Bibliomaniacs
Fridays at 4:30pm
A teen reading and writing group that gathers to discuss their favorite books and talk about writing their own stories.   All are welcome to a group were teens are in control.

Tech Classes

January's tech class will be held on a new day and time, Wed., January 11 at 5:30pm. This month FMCC Librarian Michael Daly will talk about digitial pictures - how move them to your computer, edit them and share them via email and social networking. Attendees should bring laptops, if they have them, as well as pictures to edit. Laptops will be available, but attendees using them should bring a USB stick or microSD card with pictures to edit.


Classes are typically the second Wednesday of the month, at 5:30pm covering a variety of technology topics.  The instructor is Michael Daly, Services Librarian at FMCC.


Knitting Group
The Knitting Group meets on Thursdays from 4:30-close to share knowledge, stories and companionship.  This is a multigeneration group, who welcomes anyone interested in learning and sharing needle crafts.
